一、会议背景

随着民粹主义、贸易保护主义的复兴，全球化的发展趋势似有逆转，人类社会所面临的各类危机呈现出加速和复杂化的趋势，文化创新的难度也在急速增加。既往的社会科学研究难题和新的挑战均对社会科学话语体系的建构、方法建设以及方法论反思提出了更高的要求，而这一切又是文化创新的基础。

本会议将围绕文化创新与危机、人类学的研究方法、社会科学方法论与话语体系建构、本体论展开讨论。

2019年1月30日前接收报名和论文摘要；2019年3月1日前接收论文全文。论文语言为汉语、英语。

2、会议费用

会议不收取会务费。参会学者往返机票自理，住宿及落地费用由会议承担。

汉语、英语。

讨论阶段提供英语、法语同声传译。

4、邀请函

国外学者所提交论文摘要，经评审甄选，发放邀请函，办理签证。国内学者以论文参会。

China and the World: Cultural Innovation and Discourse System

in Social Science

Conference notice and call for papers

With the resurgence of populism, and trade protectionism, a reversed trend of globalization has arisen. Human societies has entered an age of accelerated conflicts and complications, as well as a critical predicament of cultural innovation. Difficulties and changes raise challenges for social science research and call for reflections and reconstruction of its discourse systems, research methods and methodologies, which, in turn, helps rebuild foundations for cultural innovation.

The main themes of this conference include cultural innovation and its crisis, anthropological methods, methodologies and the discursive (re)construction in social science.

·THEMES: Anthropology, methodologies, cultural innovation, ontology and discourse systems.

·TOPICS:

1) Cultural innovation and comparative research;  

2) The (re)construction of discourse systems in social science;

3) Culture research, methodological and ontological concerns in anthropology

DATE: April 20 2019.

VENUE: Beijing Normal University

PAPER SUBMISSION: Please submit an abstract by January 29, 2019; and a full-length conference paper by March 1, 2019. Both the abstract and the paper should be written in English or Chinese. The invitation letter will be sent to the participant for visa application and other logistic issues once the abstract is accepted.

FEES: No conference fee. Accommodation will be provided by the organizer for each participant, but travel expenses will be covered by participants themselves.  

LANGUAGE: English、French、Chinese. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Chinese, French and English at the panel.Spanish at the panel.
